that's funny. the game starts you trying to figure out who killed your grandfather. and it becomes a minor detail. lol

Yeah, I never really thought of that. Those flashbacks, such as the cutscenes of Pious talking to his ancient, they were all for the audiences benefit.

I like to think your player experiences seeing those visions as a result of Mantarok's influence. Like whatever his real motivation is, it suits his purpose that he player character should be made aware that the overall situation is bigger than just their own personal experience.
