Sex Scenes...

Has anyone else noticed how much more realistic sex scenes are in non-US films? In a Hollywood production, a sex scene is usually little more than an excuse to show some T&A. The sex scene in dot the i is way hot in my opinion, because it is much closer to how real people have sex. Oh, and it also features Gael Garcia Bernal, not to mention his ass--you can't go wrong there! LOL.

Another example would be Y Tu Mama Tambien. Sex shouldn't be glamorized in films, it should just be real.

Haha..Very interesting plot. You're right i've been noticed about this "film-phenomena" and yet that's really astonishing.I mean..yea it's been happened since long time ago about the fact, that european films always had to provide " Real,Explicit and Graphic sexual scenes" million times "wilder and crazier" instead of Hollywood motion pictures. But,today, hollywood seems become more open-minded less "conventional" than a century ago, especially when they offer audiences by "Steamy-Tantalizing-Naughty" sexual intercourse on screen.

And yes,i agree that hollywood tends to glamourized sex in the movie rather than attempt to make it looks real and "plausible".Sometimes, you can tell for sure when you watch "sexual scenes" in hollywood movies and say this sex part was fake.or they don't seem like "having sex" at all.I don't know why maybe because,Hollywood would rather to spend big money to blow cars or giant robots and making a tremendous explosion, find it way much more exciting than tell 2 people to have real sex in front of the camera.don't you think? or second thought,is this because of "society values" inside US? i have no idea.

But,Sure..Sex is inevitably natural act.

That's not what I meant...I was referring to the fact that they weren't doing it in slow motion with super-sappy love music in the background (a la that laughable sex scene in Top Gun); that sort of thing. It went on for longer than a lot of sex scenes you see in Hollywood films as well. Honestly, I think the bra was meant to make up for that aspect of it. Of course there are always exceptions. I actually think the sex scene was one of the most realistic aspects of the whole film, which was pretty out there I will admit.

The bra was there because she kept her sweater on. If she would have took off the sweater (to get the bra off) we would have seen the acid burns on her arm, which were not yet reveled in the plot (just hinted to).

One thing that is also missing from the sex scenes in US films is orgasm...particularly the female one.

Sex with the bra on is about the most unrealistic thing you can have on a sex scene. Might as well not show anything at all.
