......was bad. I watched it because I'm a fan of Clifton Powell and Monica Calhoun. IMO, they're both good actors that have never gotten the roles, or recognition, that they deserve. I hate to see them in a movie like this.

Lisa Raye is as bad an actress as they come. How she can even get roles is beyond me. But she fits right in with the rest of this poorly written movie. The Warden, (Reed McCants), was worse than she was. His was the cheesiest performance on screen I've seen in quite a while.

But they weren't the only ones. There's more "Worst Acting Awards" to give out in this flick. It's amazing the crap that is dished out. Neema Barnette should've been arrested and put in prison herself for directing some crap like this.

lisa raye gets roles for the same reason jessica simpson gets roles... because she's fine as h*ll.... i'm sorry but i don't really care if she can act... any movie with lisa raye and n'bushe wright and lark voorhies in it... i'm watching... as for the movie itself... i've seen far worse...

IMO, the movie itself was okay but the acting was horrible. I'm with you on that warden and Lisa Raye. It was a good thing that the warden only had a few scenes but Lisa Raye was just awful. She was not convincing at all and way more convincing in the Players club, even though she was bad in that too. She's a pretty woman but how on earth does she get these roles? I'm sure that there are some even prettier woman with even more talent out there so who's casting couch is she sleeping on?
