This movie has such a perverse message.

The portrayal of bike street racing is just terrible. Even though the movie starts off with a fatal accident at ridiculous speed, the driver himself walks off completely free of injury. What would have killed him three times over in real life, doesn't even give him a slight limp or something. And of course he continues with racing.

The whole premise of the movie to make illegal speed racing something cool is just so terribly wrong that I don't know how anyone at the studio could have found it a good idea to begin with. I know that this is just as true for all the action movies making car racing look awesome, but doing the same thing with motorbikes is infinitely more wrong. Riding a motorbike is almost an invitation to be killed to begin with, as the statistics clearly show. The attempt at making this look cool just made me laugh.

its been a year.. have you learned anything yet? been on a bike? crash one? its a you clearly dont have any REAL statistics to back you up .
now please, go get a life.. and a bike.

The dude who wrecked his bike (played by Terrence Howard) did not get up. I don't think he was in the rest of the film.
There are plenty of people who've taken bad spills and gotten back on the horse so to speak. The ones who do are risk takers and always will be. Why do you think stuntmen have careers in the field?

Human beings have and always will love racing legal or illegal. If it was risk free very few would be interested because then anybody could do it.

1. The guy on the bike died along with his dad

2. Fast and furious isn't great, but most people are car fans and prefer cars which is why motorcycle movies are rated low and this being a majority black film that doesn't involve typical inner-city violence gets judged more critically

The rider did not get up and walk away at the beginning of the film.

Its that man again!!

Idk what version you saw, or if you're one of those all black people look alike people, but Choo - Choo didn't get up from that wreck. His body did when the coroner got there, but he didn't...
