Gun on the dvd cover
what make and model was it?
shareIt is a South African Mechem BXP 9mm submachine gun.
It is odd that it should be used in the film or on the cover, since the weapon was not produced for service until 1988, some years after Andre Stander was killed in real life.
What looks like a ribbed forestock is in fact the pad of the underfolding buttstock.
The gun on the cover was pasted into that screen-capture, because if you look through the movie, you'll notice it's taken from the scene when Andre is waiting for Lee and Allan to 'rob' the gun-shop (asking for Beretta Rifles) - he's leaning against the car, but has no gun in his hands -- at least all you see is his torso and his hands are outside of the shot below. I found this pretty interesting/funny.
