So Stupid!

So five years after Biggie and Tupac's deaths Vh1 decides to make some type of hip hop story loosely based on an East and West coast beef. BOOOO! First of all, the characters are entirely stereotypical and superficial. "Play'd" (a laugh in itself)was certainly written from the viewpoint of persons who were on the outside looking in. Neither Tupac or Biggie in their day used their slang to the extent in which these charaters did. Watch the scene after "Mayheim" is shot and declares war on the West Coast. The script dialogue was completely overdone, senseless, pretentious, AND annoying to say the least. Furthermore, the casting was horrible. Faizon Love as "Domino Breed" and his not so unintentional likeness to Suge Knight CEO was not convincing though he had some of the better lines in the movie. Why Toni Braxton chose to make her acting debut in this garbage was beyond me; until I saw her performance. Let's just say that for a movie of this low-caliber she was a perfect match. On a positive note, I will say that this movie is in fact entertaining... I have what you call a "thing" for bad cinema...
