Im tired of everyonr saying johnny depp has been the lead this entire movie series. Will Turner Has been the lead Jack Sparrow Just kinda gets him into a bunch of *beep*
shareMight have been different if Johnny Depp hadn't been so awesome and Orlando Bloom hadn't been so extremely bland.
Unfortunately Bloom was in a movie filled with excellent actors (Depp, Rush, Jonathan Pryce, Jack Davenport..) so his own lack of ability really showed.

I don't know if he's completely bland. I think it seems like he is because as you said, he's got a lot of superior actors onscreen with him. He doesn't completely lack talent though.
