1. PoCYeah. Curse of the Black Pearl was great, but all of these sequels couldn't scrape a story together from the bottom of the barrel they were using by the time the fourth entry came around.

I agree. Though I didn't watch the fourth one.
This series kinda remind me of Shrek in that the first movie is really, really good, like a perfect one for it's genre. And then the sequels just gets weaker and weaker just milking out everything from the first one.
