Here's a question for speculation:
At the bar, The Man (Sam Neill) asks Melanie (Rachel Blake), "Your place or mine?"
What would have happened if she said, "My place"?
I've been thinking about the same thing!!! Cause obviously he had planned it all (bought the dress, pearls etc) so he must have been really confident that she comes to his place. My theory is that the Man knew that Melanie always says that and never takes men to her home...
