Damian Nice film

I have been watching all the controversy with the film El Padrino.

I can see why there is so much good and bad. For one the film Exposes some heavy secret societies and there involvement in the Government.

I believe Damian Chapa probably took a risk in allowing certain symbols and there meanings to be exposed in this gangster film.


I see people writing great things and then some write bad things. It is so easy to figure out if you have even a little pyscology behind you that someone is pissed off. Sounds like a ex-sweetheart a woman scorned or it could be a anti promotion campaign from some people who didnt like his expose on Free masons.

I first must say that after watching El Padrino and then hearing the budget, I was quite amazed at what the production pulled of. It is not by far a master piece however it is quite a good film.

And for the budget better then most I have rented at blockbuster.

The main thing I felt is its a young film maker who has a lot of room to become great.


I have seen Films from people like Woody Allen and Spielberg early on, and if it was a race at their perspective ages Chapa by far is more talented.

I just think after seeing some of his behind the scenes films he is very politicaly In-Correct.


so where people like J.F.K and Others of that Elk.


Well someome who has enought courage to expose secrets should be afraid however if they have courage they should be proud.


My Respect to film makers like Gibson and Chapa who and Im not comparing Chapa to Gibson but they do both do films that cause controversy.


I.R.A is not going to win any points or brownies for Chapa either but who wants to Have a brown nose unless it was already a brown one.
