Alternate MGS

Many people seem to look at it as al alternate version of MG2 or (God help us) Snake's Revenge. The simple fact is that this is basically a retelling, or alternate version of Metal Gear Solid. It's set after MG2, it has many of the same situations: Campbell pulling him from Alaska, meeting Mei Ling, the sneaking suit, the confrontations with his past, the terrorist villain with the serpentine code name, the cute redhead survivor in enemy garb, the dorky scientist who helped make metal gear, etc
