With all the films Cage has made I'm always amazed how often I enjoy them. Now mind you, I'm not ready to put him in the pantheon of great actors, in fact at best I see him as reliable and mainstream. But yet despite these reservations, I more often than not find his films and him quite entertaining. Does his selection of roles somehow tap into my deepest cravings as a movie viewer? Whatever the reason, I continue to be amazed.

I mean he got so bad in time and he is such a fine actor....
But he destroyed his career himself...
By bad decisions abut his projects, roles and his acting in recent years is just a shadow of his talent and sometimes like a Wickerman it´s like a parody of himself...
This film is lovely though just like his acting he was great
