On the dvd the director explains that they had a lot of trouble creating a summer atmosphere for this movie because it was always raining and freezing cold during the shoot. Considered this, I think the camerawork and the lighting in "Love in Thoughts" are quite unbelievable! It looks all warm and sultry.

It has quite a list of extras, for example a commentary from the director and the cast, a making of and deleted scenes. Sadly, it has no subtitles and no foreign language versions, so it won't help much if you don't speak German...

this is a great movie, it deserves a better publicity! I saw it by "accident" in Cinemax, otherwise this excelent film would have slipped out of my hands! I only wished that they used the same dvd as they did in Germany... I don't know if you know, but here in America (the real america, not only USA) the promoter of this film is Wolfe, and someone told me that this producer house is all about gay & lesbian films, I know they have something in the movie, but to reduce it to that.... what a shame...
I am hoping to buy the german dvd anyways, and wait till I learn German (I soooo would love to learn it, I think it is a great language...)
