Question about the games.....

In the games pre the 2013 reboot Lara always recorded all the stuff she found and saw. For instance in Underworld she had her video camera with her for the whole journey.

Is Lara a bit of a thief because she records all this stuff but the world at large never sees her discoveries or learns of all the stuff she finds. Yet she finds a lot of sciencey magic stuff which if studied could help the world, or hinder it. But no one ever gets to find the stuff..

So how does she get so rich raiding tombs?

She doesn't get rich raiding tombs. She's born into money and does this stuff for personal reasons and enjoyment.
