Best Accent Ever

Jolie's accent in this film was magnificent, almost as well-done as a child actress in a grade school play.

you would think that someone would have noticed how pathetic it was and done something about it... while they still could.
the first few lines are especially terrible, and then its like she just forgot to put on her pseudo high-class voice.

My problem isn't with the accent, it's with the level of her voice. She sounds like she's barely talking above a whisper for most of the first movie.

Quantum Of Solace - the amount of comfort.

I quite liked her accent in the films ....

Speaking as an English person, I liked her accent in the first film but it was hideously over-done in the second....shame really.

That is so true. I never realized the extent of her acting until I came across a post of her in some film from the 90s and she was supposed to be Italian. Her accent was horrible. I grew up thinking she was so bad ass and such a cool actor. Now, I don't even know what the hell I was thinking. She cannot do accents at all.

There's even an African tribal man who said in his own native language that her accent is funny.

He meant when she spoke in his dialect.

Picking on American actress' "British" accents always amuses me. There are so many different accents in the UK depending on where one was born, grew up, went to school, etc. In this film it says that Croft Manor is in Buckinghamshire. Does Lara have a Buckinghamshire accent ? I couldn't say.But I think she sounds much more believable than Diana Spencer, who always DID sound like she was in a bad school play.

"I say ! Open this door at once! We're British !"
