I am reminded of BLINK, about a blind woman (Madelyn "Last of the Mohicans" Stowe) who has cutting-edge surgery to restore her sight. Unfortunately, right after surgery, she runs afoul of a killer whom she can sort of make out as her sight slowly returns. For its time, the movie was pretty scary and the cameraman played around with some neat, non-CGI effects to represent Stowe's limited vision. For those under 30 who probably have never heard of this film or Ms. Stowe, I highly recommend it.

Hmm makes ya think huh?

It wouldn't surprise me if the writer of Gin Gwai, saw Blink and used parts of the movie.

This also reminded me of "Blink," which was a much better film in my opinion.

Blink is awesome. The filmmakers had to have seen it. The main character of both films even plays violin!
