better movie: Jacob's Ladder (spoilers)

I agree with the theory presented by mwbubelah presented here... that the entire story is all in the mind on the deathbed, taking place in 2 minute period.

This is extremely similar to the much better movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099871/ Jacob's Ladder. Jacob's ladder has similar theme with inappropriate doctors (chiropractor vs. pediatrics), waking up with different wifes, etc.

On the IMDB BBS for Jacob's Ladder, someone mentioned that the movie commentary references a short story called "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" written by Ambrose Bierce in 1891: http://eserver.org/fiction/occurrence-at-owl-creek.html

The 10 word description that Comcast Cable displayed with Starz emphasized the Time Travel aspect of The I Inside, I think that was a big mistake. At least they showed it on their mystery channel :)

Couldn't agree more, it was basically the same story as JL and it wasn't anywhere near as interesting or well acted. Looking at the trivia I think that it would have been a better if Slater et al had been in it, but then it still wouldn't have been as good as JL.

While I was marginally entertained I can only give it 5/10.

Just watched this movie and this was the first thing that came to mind, you're not wrong. It really is a very dull version of JL.

Same ending in "Una pura formalitá" by Tornatore.
