I just saw this tonight at the Fantasy Filmfest in Cologne, Germany.
I really liked the story; it´s not like Memento, since the plot is linear, but the timeline isn´t. Really gets you to pay attention.
Go and see this if you can!

Unfortunately, I thought this was a huge disappointment. In terms of the small picture, 90% of the time you were just ahead of the movie by two steps, and in terms of the big overall storyline, you have a fairly good idea roughly what is happening in the first 20 minutes or so.
It wasn't completely bad mind you - I did like the switching between the timelines, the first 30-40 minutes or so, some of the performances, and other aspects (I liked the slightly frenetic theme up to a point - it got a bit irritating hearing it over and over again but it was a neat mysterious theme).
But I was looking forward to this movie a lot, and I thought Identity (8/10) was fantastic so I was probably expecting too much.
Rumors that it's a Memento (10/10) ripoff are unfounded. The only common aspect they have is short term memory loss, and that only happens the one time for the main character in this movie, it isn't a continual thing (basically, it's just amnesia in this film).
The one review/comment had it pretty much right though. And his comparisons to The Butterfly Effect (7/10) and Jacob's Ladder (7/10) are probably the most accurate comparisons, by far a much closer match than to Memento.
I guess it's worth seeing if you were looking forward to it, but it feels too rehashed and the whole rough idea has just been done and executed in a much better way before. I'd give it 5/10 probably.

I have not seen it yet but I really want to. I love Ryan Phillippe. I do know someone that has seen it and they told me they really liked it. They said the storyline was surprising. By what they told me I would give this movie a 10/10. But thats just what i think.
sharei've been wanting to see this since i first heard about it a long time ago.. i've heard it was really good, but some people didn't like the ending.. i dont know what happens, and i dont want to! ;) i just hope i get a chance to see it sometime. I know it's out on dvd in some countries already, but they're all region 2 and i cant play that.. :(

Great thanks I will buy a copie. But I have one question. I know the dvd is from another country but when I watch the movie they talk in english right? And then they have subtitles of what ever country it comes from. I want to buy but I don't want it if I can't understand what there saying.
shareyea its in english, but those are the russian and korean versions so the menus wont be english. And they are PAL, which is region 2, so you have to make sure your dvd player can play it. If you're in North America, its region 1 here.. so you need a dvd player that can play other region codes..
i loved it it kept me on the edge, i liked Memento as well but i like these kind of movies.
