A real question about the 13th episode

I'm not retarded, I got a large majority of the ending, unlike some others. But there is one part that I can't find a blog about yet. Everytime I open something on the ending it's someone asking the same thing: what happens to Integra... why was she in a cell... what did Alucard mean...
anyway I hope someone knows what this is:

Right before Incognito is killed he looks at Alucard's face which is half covered by darkness. Another character is shown on the other half of his face for a split second, a human character.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO THAT IS???????

my initial guess is Jack the Ripper, but I figure Alucard has to be much older than that, though it would explain his need for carnage. Also the dissapearance of Jack the Ripper.
just a theory

The other character who appears on Alucard's face is none other than Vlad the Impaler, the real life Dracula. This guy was a Wallachian prince who lived in the 1400's and not only was infamous for inspiring the titular character in Bram Stoker's novel (not to mention sharing the same name), but for his favorite method of torture, which was shoving a dull, oiled wooden stake up through the anus and through the mouth in a slow fashion, having the victims slowly die for days.

Literally forests of impaled victims were made during Vlad's time. This is also why Incognito was impaled in the same fashion, but with silver from a cross instead of wood.

Welcome to my Nightmare- Freddy Krueger

Vlad Cepes...Integra was in prison because the situation got out of hand and into TV, so naturally someone had to be a scapegoat, at least for the record. If you watch closely, queen's messengers said Integra had her support.

Okay, like previous posters said, the half of the face shown was supposed to be Dracula's. Remember, Incognito asked Alucard for his identity, that was shown to imply that Alucard is indeed Dracula. The reason Integra was in the cell is because the situation with the Hellsing organazation got out of hand and she was stuck with the blame. Like a previous poster mentioned, she had the Queen's support and would most likely avoid any serious trouble. And to hopefully answer all your questions... When Alucard appeared in the cell the things he said to Integra were an offer to turn her into a vampire, like with Seras he was giving her the choice. A few episodes earlier(I think it was after her surgery) Alucard had offered to turn Integra into a vampire, his dialogue at the end was merely a repitition of that offer, or at least that's how I saw it.

OR!! it was him simply asking her what she wanted to do now, and at the same time this question was asked to the audience.
The question was wether she wanted him to brake her out of jail, to continue the organisation, blah blah blah.
The fact that it was also aimed towards the audience tells us that it is the end of the season, it is alowing us to make our own conclusions about what will happen next.

It was clear to me from the start of the series that alucard is dracula. i googled the name and the first result was a wikipedia article explaining to me that alucard was an anagram of dracula. When alucard first met incognito, he actually mentions that his name is an anagram TOO. what confused me in this situation is that incognito also seems to be an anagram. can anyone help out here?

reply

It's not that incognito is an anagram for anything. the definition of incognito is someone who has their identity concealed. so the point is that we're not supposed to know the true identity of incognito, just like the viewers had no proof that alucard is dracula til the end.

If you watch closely, Integra said the Queen had abandoned them aka it's all words. That's why she escaped to the only ally she could count with: Alucard. ;)
