Alucard vs. Lestat

I'm posting this on both the interview with the vampire forums and on this one. My friend and I are having a fight over who we think could kick the other one's ass. I think that Lestat would win. I'm not sure if a lot of people know who he is but if you did you would agree. He doesn't have as many weaknesses that most other vampires do. (like garlic, silver, holy water, etc.) He can't even be killed by the sun any more! He's much more powerful and much faster. My friend told me that crosses don't hurt Alucard. (they don't hurt Lestat either) and that Alucard can come back from the dead. I'm not sure if Lestat can come back from the dead but then again if you're not be killed then you don't need to have that power.

iv seen both, and im sorry to tell you that lestat would be destroyed. alucard isnt affected by that cheap crap either(including the sun ofcorse). I cant imagine that you have read the manga or watched the anime, because its pretty clear Lestat would get his weak ass torn to *beep* pieces.

I haven't seen the anime and I am starting to read the manga. But I'm pretty sure Lestat would come out on top in the end. Sure, he's very cocky but he gets serious when he needs to be. I'm not saying that Alacard's weak. I know that he's a lot stronger then most other vampires but still. The people on the Interview with the vampire forum think that Lestat would win by only the slitest bit.

reply

I dont think you understand, Alucard is the ultimate undead.

reply

Lestat would so lose. He does not have the superior qualities that Alucard possess. Like that Alucard can't die from drinking dead blood.

reply

Also, in the latest manga chapter it was revealed that Alucard can control people's souls by eating them. And it's impossible to avoid being eaten since Alucard can toture your mind then surround you with a bunch of hellhounds that he can use to eat you.

reply

I'd assume the OP here is a chick because if anyone would pick Lestat to win against Alucard is a complete moron. Alucard is on the top of my list of badasses in anime. Lestat is just eye-candy for you women, he can't do all that much. I doubt Alucard would even use his powers against him and just blow his head off with his gun.

reply

Okay, okay. I watched some of the anime now. I agree that Alucard would probably win. But Lestat's not eye candy! He's shown that he's strong and a hell of a challenge to kill. I like Marius not Lestat. So you can't say that I want him to win because he's "eye candy". If we're going by looks Alucard would still win.

reply

Lestat is cool and I've liked him a lot longer than I even knew about Alucard but let's face it; Lestat would loose. I don't really see lestat as a fighter but more like Dorian Gray- like man who just want's to show off. Alucard is a warrior, who has lived almost 600 years. Lestat is like 200-300 years old, right?

And don't forget the key thing: Alucard is Dracula! No vampire can mess with Dracula and live to tell the tale.

Count Dracula: Ah yes, the prayer always sounds so much more impressive in Latin.

reply

ohhh come on Lestat would get destroyed in Interview with a Vampire he is nearly killed by a little girl Alucard gets literally blown to pieces several times and still kicks ass

reply

in my opinion: Alucard would win, i dont think Lestat would have much of a chance.

Lestat is pretty weak..

reply

*growls* I said Alucard could beat him. I never said he was weak.

they might not have read the novels to know that lestat has the blood of something like 4000 years or so....he is very powerful....but Hellsing isn't a vampire, he is a lovecraftian creation that drinks blood. Lovecraft creatures are a loy more fun than vampires! Win Alucard

reply

Funny thing is you get the exact opposite answers on the Interview with the vampire board.

Oh I bet Vampire Hunter D could. But he is a dhampir. And the son of Dracula.

From my screen name you may realize this is hardly fair and impartial, but I actually think several of the characters in Hellsing could take out Lestat. Alucard, Walter, Alex Anderson and Luke Valentine all strike me as being much faster, better equipped and more experienced than Lestat.

We've got movie sign!

Ah, but if you go by the novels Lestat can move faster than human eyes can see (He uses this power briefly in the film Interview with the vampire). He has survived fire and sunlight. And in the books he later gains the power to fly, travel outside hsi body, kill a human by looking at him, moving objects with his mind, and setting fire with his mind. Not to mention he already had the power to read thoughts. I think he would stand a sporting chance.

reply

Thank you! I'm curious. Lestat can kill a person by making their insides burst by just looking at them. I know it doesn't work on vampires but do you think it would work on Anderson? Cuz he can regenerate but what about his insides? *evil grin*

That's an interesting thought.

reply

My friend told me that being blown up from the inside out might make it difficult for him to regenerate but since he's made out of those bats pretty much she's not sure if he even has insides at all. So it might not work. But still, he has to have insides of some sort. He can't just be hollow! So I don't know.

Alucard has all Lesta's abilities (and most any vampire i've hurd of) and more. He's just unbeatable the only way ppl can think of anyone that might be able to beat Alucard is to pit him against something like a looney toon or to make him face a god. Lestat's just not that impresive when you bring in a real vampire like Alucard.

even when it is the novel's Lestat, Alucard would end up winning, but the both of them propably wouldn't end up fighting so who cares ^^

*sighs* No matter how hard I try to explain why I think it would be an evenly matched fight I keep having to bring it up again so oh well.

Lestat would get his ass served to him, when it comes to him being a fighter he's just not that great.

My god I was such a whiny brat. I should... you know, probably redo this whole post on the Hellsing OVA forums. Now that I'm not, you know, a little bitch.

And Lestat would still win...

Alucard, hands down. Lestat is powerful, but he's a romantic-vamp, made for fangirl's fantasies, Alucard's an overpowered godmodder WHO CANNOT DIE and began as a warrior and warlord and has no qualms to slaughter made for fanboy fantasies, in any canon.

Here's the deal.

Anime Alucard, can like make demon gods his bitch apparently and like Idk what way he dies. Since Walter says he doesn't. Soh uh...
Manga Alucard is SLIGHTLY less overpowered (in the beginning) because he has rules and all, some, except unlike Animecard he can lift his own restrictions (Integra doesn't need to say that), but... he simply can overcome anything because he wants. He like defeats the power of God with his BARE HANDS. Nothing needed except his willpower. Then he's deleted from existence, he still returns. :/ Right now, he's everywhere&nowhere, so he can freakin' choose to be IN LESTAT'S MIND/BODY and destroy it if he wants to courtesy of Schrödinger, not even running water would stop him now. He became a vampire because he wanted to. Yup. Didn't want to die, drank blood from the field, and like became a vampire, the first of all because he wanted to.

Akasha, FAR more powerful than Lestat and older, only needed a push over a glass door to be beheaded and offed. In like minutes? Alucard can fight WITHOUT a head in the manga, it's so hilariously easy for him to surprise Lestat. Reading his mind is complicated too (see Seras/Pip vs Zorin).

I think the only vamps who can give Alucard a decent fight is Castlevania's Dracula and Legacy of Kain vamps.

This is in a battle, if it's in /another/ type of contest (i.e. who vamps Integra that is Alucard's target/objective in both anime -he only turned Seras because had same eyes as Integra according to Gonzo- and more subtly in the Manga: "Once a vampire came to England to claim the woman he desired for so long" parallels of past-Mina- and present-Integra-), then it can be far more complex.

I'm sure Lestat can beat him in less creepy and more tasteful fashion, but in power, it's going to be a slaughter.

reply

Really? Why are people even debating this?

Alucard gets his head chopped off and he laughs, laughs! We've all seen the things he can do. Why is this even a question of who would win. I think the real question asked should be, "so how long do you think Alucard's going to toy with Lestat before he gets board and finally kills him?"

I'd say a good fifteen minutes.

I love me some Northman. <3

Anyway...

Alucard and Lestat? If you're going to put two vamps up against each other like that they should, at the very least, be in the same power range. Lestat is in no way a match for the kind of power and abilities Alucard possesses.
