Absolutely Terrible movie

The best part of this movie is when I went out to the lobby and got the high score in Ms Pac Man. The only funny person in it was Tracy Morgan and he has about 3 short scenes. Please don't see this movie. Please. It is AWFUL.

who are you calling people gay ass punks KIL015-1. if he's a gay ass punk that must make you a really big wanker. there is no need to get so pathetic and petty. it's a movie for god sakes. if you don't like it you don't like it. i have three last words for you: Get A Life.

reply

Who do you find funny? I think Chris Rock is one of the funniest around.

reply

I thought it was a very funny movie!!!

reply

I remember laughing once or twice, like the first thing he thinks about when becoming president is being assinated.

reply

cant you just give the movie a chance? maybe you're not into comedies. u know slapsticks...

reply

um who cares if its terrible, it has Stephanie March in it and for anyone who has seen her in Law & Order as Assistant District Attorney Alex Cabot will be dying with laughter or sitting there in complete confussion wondering about how hilariously different Ms. March's character is from her usual role as a kick butt lawyer. I almost cried I was laughing so hard every scene she was in, because I kept thinking of her as Counselor Cabot. Yeah watch some episodes of Law & Order: SVU on USA before this movie and you will be sure to find it funny.

I think anytihng with chris rock is funny so i thouht it was good movie

reply

It was alright. A 5 out of 10 is a good rating. Some of it was Clichéd definitely. Some of it was original. It was ok and made me laugh a few times.

I recently watched it on a flight to Penang and thought it was great, so good in fact that I saw it twice on that flight. I would recommend it as I consider it to be a light hearted, silly film.

The only worthwhile scene in this whole film is when Bernie Mac and Chris Rock bust each other up, in a rough bout of sibling rivalry.

reply

I couldn't think of a worse movie I've sat through after watching this. Bernie Mac's tv interviews were the only thing funny. Chris Rock shouldn't do these kids' movies. I had only previously seen him on Dogma and absolutely loved it. And what was with the ending? He just won and become the president! A total anti-climax.

reply

i think this was a really funny movie. I've seen it about 3 or 4 times at least. I say you should see it if you like funny movies. Chris Rock is one of the funnest guys. I remember one really funny part when the black man was on the screen and they ask who he is voting for and he goes who the "f" do u think im voting for. that was really funny. But uh i think yall are crazy for not liking this film.

reply

I'll agree with that, the film while not oscar worthy was pretty funny. I found it hilarious when Rock and Mac continuously tried to get that other guy to debate Rock, classic.

Kids' movie? Hardly. Most of the stuff in the movie would go right over most of their heads (and apparently yours too). Silly and corny doesn't mean "kiddy". Just about everything Bernie did in the movie was hillarious. The election was great, as was the debate.

reply

Most people are not gonna like this movie, it's true. Why, cuz the script sucks and the acting was poor. But that's not what the movies about, it's a movie making light of the possibily of a black man being president and how he'd do things. I think in the respect it is a GREAT movie. It gets it's laughs and it's something you can throw on when your bored and it'll entertain you. But then again i'm the kinda guy who enjoys movies like undercover brother and tv shows like Martin and Chappelle show that make light of racial tension through humor. Maybe your not into movies and shows like this or maybe your too uptight to laugh at movies like this because you think the racist overtones are too much. And if it is, that's fine...but don't slam because it wasn't that bad, to just wasn't what you'd call intellicually stimulating.

Cocodude11, with "kids' movie" I was mostly refering to the PG13 rating, nothing went over my head, I can assure you.

reply

His movies aren't funny because all he does is perform his standup instead of acting

If you've seen his standup, you dont really need to go to this movies, they're the same, often line for line

You people need to grow up. Seriously. Calling each other names for liking or disliking a movie. Come on. That's middle-school nonsense.

I agree with the original poster somewhat. This movie is okay. Not by any means the greatest ever made, but it's enjoyable watching once or twice.

What's the difference between the sexiness of BRAD PITT and WILL FERRELL? Nothing. :)

i really liked this movie. not as much as some others. like for instance, blade trinity, but still very good.

If you have somthing to say to me,you can say it to my 12 gage

I thought this movie was excellent. I bought it and I've watched it about 15 times. It's funny and clever.

While it is completely far-fetched, Chris Rock managed to turn this into a great film.
