Errors in the film

I have been "discovering" the films of Mr Ferguson, which in my opinion are quite good, and this one in particular. It did win several film festival awards, and he did most of the filming with a broken collarbone. Notice that he does not use his right arm for most of the scenes.
I have noticed at least two errors that were not pointed out in the commentary on the DVD. First, in the final hospital scene, Paul is clearly wearing undies under the hospital gown; however when he leaves the pub after being sprung by his fake wife, he walks out with the gown gaping open clearly showing his bare behind.
Secondly, in the scene filmed directly after his collarbone break and closeups shot later according to his voice track, he is laying on a sofa at his home with a stuffed big game cat behind his head. On the long shot the cat is directly at the back of his head and his hair is mussed, on the closeups the cats head is much further away and his hair is more combed.
I thought this film was a great departure from Craig's other films; more vulnerable, more understated. He, as a writer departed from the comedy of The Big Tease to make a more insightful film that I can watch multiple times. He is the total opposite of his suave character in Born Romantic. I do think from the deleted scenes that the scene of his daughter slapping him for all the times they did not share should have made the final cut, as it showed more emotion in the daughter character.
As for a rip off of "What a Girl Wants" I don't see the connection. Totally different story for me other than the I didn't know I had a kid angle.

Cute film! I think he was wearing his Ferguson tartan at the end rather than his character's Kerr tartan.
