I love this movie

I have had this movie for a few years now. I hadn't watched in a couple years and watched it 5 times last week. The humor makes me laugh. Definitely, a feel good movie.

I just read Craig Ferguson's memior "American on Purpose." He notes in a chapter called "Crash" that he was against casting Charlotte Church as the daughter as she had no acting experience. The producers screwed the film by doing rewrites. I'd love to read CF's original script. The movie was released in the UK. It never made it to theaters in the US. Fron the UK it went straight to DVD.

Yes, the plot is similar to "What a Girl Wants" but I do not compare them.

To me, Jemma Redgrave resembles Natasha Richardson more so than Natasha's sister Joely does.

I watched this movie for the very first time last night, and i totally enjoyed it. What a lovley, feel good film, and cant understand why it didnt become a hit. At the end, i kept thinking "they dont make happy films like this anymore", and then i thought, "but this movie was only made a few years ago", so they do still make them - once in a while...very nice film..
