here is the true story

Thanks, I didn't know the movie was base on a true story. Did she really have an affair, or was she making the whole thing up.

I couldn't get that link to work, but after some lengthy sleuthing, I found that the real people on whom this movie was based were Diane Schaeffer (played by Jenna Elfman) who stalked the Chief Surgeon of Memorial Sloan Kettering for nine years, and her lawyer (played by Kate Burton) was Joyce B. David, Esq. The story was written into an article by Marie Brenner for the September 1991 issue of Vanity Fair magazine. I found this out at this link:
