Badly Structured (Spoilers)

In the first part of the movie we're more or less told that Ellena is falsely accused and the doctor is a lying creep. About halfway thru it is suggested that Ellena might have a screw loose after all. For the rest of movie Ellena's case basically falls apart. In the end there are no suprises, no twists (except for the fact that the cellmate is a figment of Ellena's imagination - which was predictable) and we're left feeling cheated out of any kind of dramatic payoff. The movie would have had more punch (albeit a shorter running time) if they compacted what few surprises there were so that we would come away saying, "Cool!" instead of, "That's it?!"

I may have been bifurcated, but I still have feelings.
