Kim would've won if...

If Kim didn't have such trouble making the weight and if he didn't lose it so fast he would've never went into such a tough fight in such a weakened condition. The 15 rounds also did not help. He was weak and tired and it was harder for him to defend himself. That's why he took so many punches and why he died. Before Kim ran out of gas, I thought it really looked like I was witnessing a major upset. Kim was clearly not afraid of Mancini, Mancini wasn't hurting him, and Kim was determined to win. Mancini has said that Kim scared him too. Especially when Mancini hit him with hard blows and he just raised his arms in the air to show he wasn't hurting him. I read Mancini was even thinking of quitting. No matter how many times Mancini hit him, Kim kept coming after him. It's very sad that Kim died and two others would later commit suicide as a result. He also had a wife back home in South Korea that was pregnant. It just got worse and worse. If Kim didn't die, I believe this fight would've been considered one of the greatest in history. I also firmly believe Kim would've won under different circumstances and he would've gone down in history as the Korean Rocky.
