another love story

I know the IMDb lists a suggestion, but all of these comments remind me of another film: "Summer of '42," starring Gary Grimes and Jennifer O'Neil. It's missing the revolution and takes place in America, but if you like this type of sad love story, check out the Summer of '42. It's a good flick!
