True life I've been shot

They didn't just shoot them, they left them to die. There's so much that happens after being shot, that most people don't get to see: physical pain, emotional pain, etc. Most of the time people just hear someone got shot or killed on the news, but that's everyday on the news, and some get desensitized to it, in some aspects. I think it's good to delve further into the aftermath of shooting someone of trying to take a life, and how that life,(and the lives of others), is forever affected. Getting shot is not a one-time thing, it's a forever thing.
