Ending?

Was it just me, or was anyone else a bit dissappointed with the finish, or lack there of, for Kingpin? I felt like the viewer deserved a little more conclusion to the events happening.

I was just wondering everyone else's opinions of this, or explainations of why the ending was enough. Don't get me wrong, I really have enjoyed this miniseries and was ultimately satisfied at the end; I just felt there could have been more.
I was thinking that maybe it was to leave room for an ongoing series, but that's all I could think of.

I also enjoyed Chato's character more than the others, other than Junie..he made me lol.

I would love to see this become a new series...

I loved the excessive use of quotation marks in the finale.

the ending was weak because it is not over. this will be a series this fall and i cant wait. the entire six episodes is a teaser for things to come. and best of all its on free TV! (cable TV is the biggest rip-off)

yah, they were thinking this will be picked up for the Fall. But it got cancelled. too bad. It was a good show.

I watched the original run. I never watched the DVD release. If what you're saying is the scene where Chato is found in the shed with the police chief, having tortured him, but with no satisfaction. Then Miguel says to his bodyguardl, "Finish it." The bodyguard shoots the police chief. Yes, that is how it ended originally...they didn't change it, did they?

Good ending would have been if Miquel and Chato had died a violent death. Especially Miquel.

Your ideal ending is a real possibility. By their Uncle killed the Senator, surely Miguel should have realised that this would only escalate troubles for his family rather than solve them.

I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.
