A show presented by a horror writer about a creepy hospital built over the gate to hell. Only difference is Darkplace was a spoof. But still, the similarities are striking.

I know! The first time I watched Darkplace, I thought, "Oh, cool, like Kingdom Hospital." American Gothic also had a lot of "evil in the hospital!" scenes that are pretty spoofworthy.
