Finally got a hold of Season 1 and finished watching it. Man I wish it hadn't gotten canceled! It was such an excellent and captivating show. Too bad it got canceled because of war coverage (like Miracles). I wish they would bring it back!! C'mon none of the actors in the show are doing anything these days. lol.
shareI agree! Thanks to the power of youtube, I finally got to see the other 9 eps myself, and seriously yelled when it was over! I thought it would be bittersweet, but there was nothing sweet about it. The show had so much room to grow. I've lost faith in ABC and since Disney falls under the umbrella through Buena Vista, I'm not too happy with them either, due to the fact that unlike Miralces which is on DVD and I own, Veritas is no where to be found. And playing the rest of the eps in the UK and never giving the US fans a chance, I mean I've waited nearly 4 yrs to get the chance to finish this show and now its over. I feel crushed. The show wasn't given a chance! ABC should put it out on DVD and then see how the sales go, and if good, green light a TV movie or miniseries and put us in the year 2007 or 8 cause we already know that the world could possible end in 12. Sigh! I've probably watched to last ep 6 times by now, it is by far one of the best finales I've ever seen and like I said, it left it open for so much greatness! Mean with serial shows being the way to go, like Lost, Heroes, & 24 I think the show would have a better chance now, but maybe on one of the cable stations during the summer months. Just give me 12 more eps, is that really too much to ask for bailing on a show that was NEVER given a chance!?

I just finished watching the last ep. on youtube and I want to see more. I hate the fact that tv stations aren't giving shows a fair chance. I'm even more pissed at abc because they seem to be canceling more good shows and now they are making a show about the cavemen from the commercials...i think that is just retarded. I wish they would come out with a movie like they did for firefly. I really want to know what happens.

THIS SHOW WAS AMAZING!!!! i got hooked on the first episode. i can still remember watching it all those years back. i lost it when i heard that they were cancelling it. with all of the other garbage that is considered TV, i still have no idea why they got rid of this show. it was smart, funny, and complex, unlike all of the other trash that airs now. if they ever brought it back i would be over it in a second

shareI just recently had a chance to see the entire series on youtube, and after the end of the finale I was like "What the heck? Why did they cancel this show?!" There was so much left to answer, especially with Nikko's abilities. If they could just make a miniseries or movie for it...that would be a dream come true!It was such an amazing show, with so much potential.

I tracked down a girl in South Africa and made friends with her and eventualy got her to record the un aired eps (8 of them) and send me the vhs tape.
Those long nights chatting with her at 3am paid off.
That began a long long odessey into copying and encoding and going from pal vhs to ntsc dvd, but I probably made close to 15 grand before the vids hit the torrents... which I knew people were going to do because I had infiltrated their chat rooms and whenever some of them bid on my auctions I promptly cancelled it. LOL. It was funny watching them explain to others how they couldnt get a bid in.
Oh great series too. lol
PS, I did the same thing with FireFly after it was cancelled with 3 eps remaining.

unlikely they are going to bring it back but yea, it was a great series with tons of potential, i got all the eps and once a year i rerun it and treasure every minute of it

No it has not been released on DVD... BUT I have the episodes myself on DVD and they look lovely.

WOW...I just finished watching this series, and I have to say...
The reason it was cancelled had absolutely NOTHING to do with war coverage.
This show is terrible. I'd honestly rather watch war coverage than be witness to these actors butchering thier careers by taking part in this "bleep".
After the first three episodes, I was pissed off that I'd even wasted the time it took to watch this crap.
I even went as far as watching ALL of the episodes, because people here seemed to think it got better at some point...but it didn't. I'm now a little mad at all of you, for saying what a great show this is...are you all twelve-year-olds with ADD?
It wasn't even the acting that I have a problem with...it was the writing/direction/editing that killed this show.
Totally unbelievable, zero continuity, and terribly boring two-dimensional characters.
After the first episode, I predicted almost EVERY personal transformation these people had in thier respective roles. Twelve episodes later my opinion NEVER changed. Therefore NO character development. If they were a douche at the beggining, they were still a douche at the end.
(Wasn't Cobie Smulders character supposed to be Nico's personal tutor? Oh wait, I guess we forgot that part after her introduction. Oops. Maybe we should just get her to answer the phone and relay messages...Noone will notice, right?)
Bring it back? Why?
Oh wait, I guess someone out there will magically come up with an explanation that has NOTHING to do with the evidence presented so far in the story. (Just like the way the story progresses in this series)
Take my advice...watch the first episode, add a bunch of total "bleep", and consider it the last episode. Problem solved...don't waste your time watching.
Archangel.... and you'd rather be watching what????? If I thought something was that crap I sure as hell wouldn't watch it all. I'm not 12 nor do I have ADD but I damn well enjoyed it, to each their own. I would of loved more
