The good news is that this excellent production has now been released as a remastered DVD - available as a region 0 PAL disc in the UK (will play on US systems if they have a PAL decode facility).

The disc is superb - colour deep and sharp, sound crisp. If only all transfers from TV were this good!

I have always held this to be the best production of the play available, and this disc is something to treasure.

You can get the DVD from deepdiscountdvd.com for $15 or you can get all four Thames productions for $30. Per DVD Price Search, that's about the best price online.

Search Amazon.com's DVD section for "Thames". Both the individual title and the boxset turn up.
