I've studied this video for my A2 theatre and it just so incredibley dull and depressing. I'm not saying that the acting is bad, its just that the unusual interpretation of turning this hilarious comedy into a depressing bore just doesn't work for me...
shareBut, with Shakespeare, a comedy simple means that no one dies/most people don't die, and that oftentimes, the main characters get married by the end of it. The only character really meant to make you laugh is Feste. It isn't mean to be hilarious.
