What about the soundtrack?

I am so frustrated b/c I really want to know about how to get my hands on the strange soundtrack of Tipping the Velvet - I can't find it anywhere. I just love it, and although it is modern, it still somehow fits the series. Does anyone out there know where to buy the soundtrack, or if it's released at all?

I don't believe it has ever been released. There is a cd called Tipping the Velvet, it's music from that time period that was done by female and male imporsonators but it's not the soundtrack. It's pretty good if you liked the music in the movie but it can be hard to find, I had to get mine on the UK amazon site b/c the american amazon didn't carry it. Hope this helps.

I really love the music from the series too and am annoyed that its not available on CD, so i've too taped the music off the DVD. The best quality I could get it is on cassette tape and the way to do is it to get a long lead with two plugs at both ends and plug one end into the front of your TV/Laptop and then plug the other end into the back of a stereo system and then find the channel. It plays at DVD quality sound but i'm looking to see if I can get the cassette transfered to CD as I can't work out just yet how to get the music waves from the DVD to CD!Hope this helps.
