Incest family?

How were all the people in this movie related? They all seemed to be evil and in on everything together.

From what I've gathered....the old lady in the gas station was Grandma...

Grandma is the Sherriffs mother, possibly the older lady in the trailer who is drinking tea mother...is Monty the wheelchair guy possibly grandmothers husband?

I'm thinking incest family...so maybe the sheriff had sex with his sister, and their offspring could be the short haired younger tea lady in the trailer.

Maybe that younger woman had sex with one of the males and produced the little boy that runs around outside.

Yes. There was possibly incest going on. In TCM: The Beginning Chrissie said something like"do you *beep* all your cousins, or just the ones you find attractive?". Plus, there was nobody else to carry on the Hewitt bloodline, unless they kidnapped girls and inpregnate them (the hitchiker).

It's possible, but there's never actually been any confirmation of incest in these films. It's always speculation or a joke. In TCM 2 Drayton is likely the oldest brother, but in TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D he's the dad. TCM 3 introduced a mom, but there's never been word of a father Sawyer. TCM 2 and TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D are of a separate continuity, so I don't think one could say Drayton is definitely both.

As for the Hewitts, there's Luda Mae, brother Monty, her son Charlie/Hoyt, her possible sister the Tea Lady, her maybe daughter or niece Henrietta, adopted son Thomas, and possibly kidnapped grandson Jed. The Hewitt family kidnapped the baby in the remake, so it's also possible they've been doing that for years. For all we know Charlie/Hoyt may not even be a blood relative, but another kidnap victim. The Hewitts were clearly on edge before they resorted to murder and cannibalism, so I could imagine Luda Mae stealing a baby in her youth.
