I agree, it is a good movie just a horribly low budgut. But i think the low cost to make it is what make it so stupid it was funny.

Few movies are as bad as Terror Toons. Amongst them would be "Legend of the Chupacabra" (another Castro movie), Back Woods, Ax 'Em, and Near Death (yet another Castro movie).
Low budget or not, this movie just wasn't good.
Amen to that. Why do people always think just because a movie has no budget it has the right to suck and get away with it? If it didn't suck so bad, they probably could have raised enough money to have a decent budget. Hey, if the Evil Dead team could do it, I imagine most anyone could.
shareI'm sorry!!! But even with a budget, this movie would be awful. It's not a visual thing! The special effects aren't whats wrong with the movie. It's the plot or lack there of, the special effects, the piss poor actors all rolled up into a disguting ball of festering crap that made this movie so bad. I've seen millions of movies, but I've never been driven to near suicide from a film before.

I mean, the best actor in the movie was a pizza delivery guy...Honestly.
And the terrible writing in this movie...lines just run through my head...

I adored this movie, for one that it IS a low-budget, and anyone who has worked on a B movie knows how tough it is, especially when the actors aren't being paid, and I thought the effects were extremely well placed. The scene where the girl is turned into a ventriloquest dummy was awesome. I'm definately looking forward the sequel.

shareI rented terror toons and watched it once. Once was enough. It is a terrible movie. It is a ridiculous movie. And guess what terror toon fans? ridiculous doesn't equal funny. Anyone who says this movie has humor value is insane. I can't even make fun of this movie for my own personal amusement. It is that bad.
Though i have found a worse movie. It was originally called the chooper, but retitled blood shack. Worst movie ever.
This is the worst movie I have ever seen, although I can give it half a prop. Done with a completely different script, a bigger budget, better effects, and a cast that could act, it could be good. What, you say? Well the basic premise that is listed on the box. Cartoon characters kill in crazy cartoon ways. That could be cool if well executed. If this was made in the late 70s or early 80s and done on film, with better stuff all around, it would have been classic. Its a good concept, just executed wrong at every single possible turn. Although the younger sister, Candy, was pretty hot and had huge knockers, we should have seen them more.

This movie is a $2300 dollar example of how to not make a low budget movie. To say it's bad is a cruel understatement, and though it's not the worst movie I've ever seen, I'm positive that anyone who likes this movie is probably easily entertained by shiny things and confetti.

Seriously, this is easily the worst movie ever made. Yes, I know that I have not seen all the movies in creation, yet because of the repulsive nature of this film, I can honestly state this movie insults "F" rated movies.
I have seen better material produced from beginning film students. And I even think IMDb should erase this page so as to never acknowledge this horrible piece of work. A page that says, "for the love of everything good, we removed this crap from our site."
Tolerance for opinion is necessary, but I cannot see how you would think that Terror Toons is underrated. I strongly disagree with your thought.

Despite what I hear about this, a friend I know took acid and watched this and describes it as one of the most insane things hes ever had to watch.
