Do you think that micro-buget film making is good or bad? I'm talking under five thousand dollars for an entire feature that you probably will rent someday from a video store thinking you have just rented the next over a million dollar shot on film feature.

i just rented terror toons, despite all of the disgression against it from those on this board (I was interested)and i saw the trailer on the DVD before i watched it to know what i'm getting into. It did look extremely cheesy. I know it had a very limited budget but i've made short films on a 96 cam-corder with a budget of $6 (to purchase a cheap radio) and they've turned out better. But who knows, i might like it. I havent watched it yet cuz im watching The Virgin Suicides right now but once i watch Terror Toons i'll tell ya'll what i think!

I like it. As long as the director/editor now what they are doing they can look and feel good. There are alot of ones out there and that sort of film making is becoming mainstream too. 28 days later is one of them. But still what I don't understand is why most movies like these can't get good actors! It annoys me. I know people that will work for free that are wwaayy better. Truthfully I always thought bad acting was a direction fault, still kind of do though. But better actors makes it easier for the director.

i liked this movie. i do think though in some ways a better budget would have made the movie better. but at the same time i like that the movie wasnt as good as it could have been. that made it better for laughs. pretty much thought the movie had the quality of a cheap porno.
