Maybe the whole movie was the whole book?

Maybe Sarah is just a fictional book character, her Dorwell books also fiction, and the book/movie was written by I don't know who at a place I don't know where...

And all we see is the filmed version of the book which was written...

Think about it. It could make sense. Even John, the publisher, also Julie and all the other people - all book fiction.

Well, great movie. Got to see it again. Maybe when I see it again I come up with another explanation...

However, what irritated me was that Sarah's typing was completely off. How can somebody make a movie about a writer, close-up film the writer's fingers typing while not paying any attention that the fingers are just hammering aimlessly around on the keyboard?
And in the beginning, she sat on the table and switched on the table lamp and the light switched on even though it had no electricity (she unplugged the power when she connected her laptop).

Then I have to ask myself: How clever can a plot be if such dumb mistakes are being made by the filmmakers?

You can tell what someone's typing just by watching their fingers? Wow, impressive.

Anyways, I think Sarah's laptop a Toshiba at the beginning of the film and a Samsung at the end. There's small mistakes in every film.

It's pretty obvious, mostly from the fact that she never touches the space bar!

The mirror... it's broken.
Yes, I know. I like it that way. Makes me look the way I feel.
