Wow. Waaayyyyyy better than 5.8

Excellent film. A few slow points here and there, but definitely worth the watch.

http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/004/595hsjaq.asp?page=1 details how the film got shafted by Tom Cruise and other people from it's excellent screenplay which had no psychic bs nor remote viewing and instead had the character O'ryan be a police profiler who went rogue and hunts serial killers with him dying in a car crash.

Mackelway kills Suspect Zero gets unhinged and goes onto be a serial killer hunter like O'ryan.

I agree. I came here to post the exact same thing and found this post already here. Definitely better than 5.8. Well done, especially the R.V. psy op element, which DID in fact happen, and takes this film to a whole 'nother level.

(I read the "review" that blasted this film for changing the original script, but frankly I don't agree. I prefer the direction it ended up taking. Sorry for the fact that New Mexico won't see any profit but that's just the way it goes sometimes.)
