Anyone else mad at 'New Actor' fans

Not to get in too much of a tizzy, but I'm actually kind of offended by some of the people online, official journalists and what not, who are like, "I actually really like the new voices, the original ones were SO terrible and so obviously-voice-acted, so the new ones are solid, and a big improvement!"

Huh?

I'm going to flat out say: the voice acting in Silent Hill 2 could easily be considered terrible, if at least 'pretty bad'. But Silent Hill 3 had some of the best acting I'd heard in a video game - at the time. I would find out later from behind the scenes footage that both games featured actors performing their duties to the fullest. Not just doing the voices. So on top of the voice actors for SH2 actually being worse than ones I might actually consider calling terrible in the original. But now these hacks are praising straight-up dub work, performed in a studio, over full body and motion acting, from performers I thought did a fantastic job.

Am I crazy? Are the detached SH3 voices actually better? Because I'm pretty sure they're not. I couldn't even continue playing the game I started, I was so irritated.
