Cincinatti Kid Knockoff (spoiler alert)

This is a cheaply put together movie and highly derivative of other con job and poker movies, notably the Cincinnati Kid. Some of the dialogue is lifted directly from the Steve McQueen, Edward G. Robinson gem. At the end of the big poker showdown, the Sylvester Stallone character says to the younger guy words to the effect 'You're good. But so long as I'm around, you're just second best.' At the beginning of the film, Thandie Newton 'loses' her ring and offers a reward. This is a well-worn con job that has been used in other films. I would say, that after ten minutes watching this thing, you pretty much get the idea that everyone is setting up everyone else, so not to take anyone seriously. BTW notice how much Stallone looks like Rock Hudson of all people.
