Bad Return

Apparently this film cost $10 million to make but only returned $25,032 thousand at the box office. Unfortunate or careless?

The film cost $6.8 million to make. It made $4.8 million Internationally and was sold to DEJ (Blockbuster) in the US for about $4 Million. It never really had a theatrical release (much to my dismay). Oh well...it was fun to make!

Every movie's a gamble. But at least I didn't feel conned when I watched it. :)

Thanks for the information, Joe...I've been trying to track down the DVD in Austrlaia, but so far I haven't seen it anywhere. Whatever did we do before the internet and home shopping?

Got it, saw it, enjoyed it. This is coming from someone who knows next to nothing about games and card tricks - there was enough there to keep me engaged and entertained. Well done!

Same here. I really liked this film and find it almost inconceivable that it only grossed $10K in the US. IMO well directed, interesting story with some twists (albeit some of which may have been a tad predictable), fine cast a great soundtrack and then you find out that it totally tanked. Mystifying!🐭
