Does anybody like Roo and his mom?

Really. I like Pooh's adventures by Walt Disney but since they introduced Roo and his mom, I've always wanted to skip the scenes with these two. They are so boring and they spoil the original cool atmosphere of the cartoon series. I hope Rabbit could drive them away from the Acre Wood in one episode to save us from seeing the righteous Kanga and her tedious jumping Roo (who is a junky character if compared to the jumping Tigger we cannot live without).

But perhaps Roo and Kanga are great characters for some kids' taste? What do you think?

While you like them so much, I guess you are a girl. OK, what is so "wonderful" about them? Every other character is very special in the series and has a bunch of memorable personality traits (I don't speak about books on IMDb): try to drive Tiggr, Pooh, Rabbit or Piglet away from the cartoon and it'll be ruined (the chemistry between them is amazing). And if you omit Kanga and Roo, the cartoon will lose... nothing.

If I'm wrong, explain their "wonder".

What do you mean since they were first introduced? They've been in all the Disney movies.

Wait a minute, Mr "no_one_00000",

On our TV the short episodes (done in 4:3, never in 16:9 format) were shown every Sunday (back in 1990s) and there were no signs of Roo and his mom (at least in the episodes I remember - and I watched quite many of them). Only later (much later) I discovered the full-length features (done in 2000s) and yes, "the Roos" were there. The short films were much funnier and quite often crazy.

Do you have info that Roo appeared back in those 4:3 times?

I watch pooh everyday, not by choice.

Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, Owl, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo and CR are the original characters from the book. Gopher and all others were added by Disney.

You're probably thinking of The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Roo is only in four episodes. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0165052/ You should check out some of the older movies.
