I actually met him in Ann Arbor, MI after a screening of the movie that he did as a benefit for the Michigan Psychoanalytic Society which both his mother and my father are a part of. He answered questions about the movie and mentioned that it was a play before it was a movie. I talked to him afterward and got a copy of the script for the play, then I directed it for my senior project in college.
