Questions

I saw this for rent in Blockbuster yesterday but I haven't heard about it so I figured I'd come on here and ask some questions.

1. I love Ringu. Is this on the same scaryness scale as Ringu because I don't find Ringu all that scary, except the end always creeps me out.

2. I know this is a silly question but does anybody puke in this movie? The only movie I could stand that in is Meaning of Life because that was really more funny than gross, but I doubt this is the same type of movie.

3. Rated R for disturbing images, just like Ringu. Elaborate. About the same/worse than Ringu?

Thanks.

Greetings

1:Not as scary as Ringu (and/or Ju-on) but scary enough to be a fine film!

2:No Cookies get Tossed

3:Yes, there are disturbing images - the usual images (ala Asian Horror) of beings/people in unexpected places, but especially the acting of the quite young girl who plays a main (possessed) character. (see the discussion of her in other postings). She is unique!

The flashbacks pop in and out with little warning - this is an easily re-watchable film

1. Hmm.... good film is good. Ju-On was way creepier than the remake, but I was expecting that.

2. Good, good.

3. That should be interesting.

Thank you very much.

1. This movie is very much scarier than Ringu. I don't scare easily at all, but after the first 20 minutes I had to pause it to turn the lights back on. And then recover from the heart attack I had when my door buzzer went off. It doesn't end scary (just creepy) but the first half hour or so is stressfully scary. I was in heaven!

2. All food remains where it ought to.

MINOR, MINOR SPOILERS BELOW:

3. Disturbing images are just the scenes with the ghost, underage sexual encounter (not graphic, just alluded to) and of course, a few murders, which are not very graphic.
