I'm sorry, but I have to know more about this kid. Normally on IMDB, there are bio's about the actors.. except there is no information on this young lady. I'd really like to know how old she was in 'Phone'? She looked really quite young.. and her performance was bloody fantastic - especially for a child..

I can tell you that her name is Eun Seo-woo, you can probably find some thing out on google or yahoo. ^_^
Seo-woo was actually our neighbor in Seoul a few years ago. Prior to filming Phone she was just in a few commercials and small parts in Korean soaps. Nice family, but she was a really strange kid. I used to see her in the park around from our apartment building sometimes, and she was always mutterring to herself. I don't speak too much Korean but every now and then I would pick up a few words and a lot of the stuff she said was sort of hateful or violent. My friend, who was also a neighbor, had a younger brother who went to school with Seo-woo. Apparently she didn't have many friends and hardly ever talked. There was also a rumor that she killed the family cat, but I don't know if its true. Definitely a weird youngster.

Agreed, she was absolutley astonishing. I just watched some of the extras on the DVD and there are some interviews with her, she comes across as the most charming, intelligent little thing!

In the interview on the DVD she said she wants to be a comedian in comedy movies, and she wants to play piano... and she said if it doesnt work out. then she'll just keep acting in other movies.. i think she said that..
She was totally an awesome actress. I don't think I have ever seen a child be so seriously dramatic. She was really freaky and scary. I even thought that if she was my child, I would probably have nightmares about her going crazy on me. Especially after the scene at the top of the stairs. Wow! I hope she does want to act more, she is excellent!!
