Tribute to...

***SPOILERS***

I saw Phone for the first time yesterday, and I liked it quite a lot! I think it's very different from Ringu, and I can't really compair those to. Ringu was better though. It didn't have a ghost pop up every 10 minutes, but was building up for the cool ending. But Phone was great, esepially the last scene when the girl comes through the wall. LOVED IT.

Anyway, when the wall gets torn down at the end of the movie, and we see the girl briked up, did anyone else think Edgar Allan Poe's "The Black Cat"?? It has to be a tribute to the old writer. Nice touch :-)
