How many times can we say 'watch?'

The scene where Zoey is in the car with her dad after being picked up at the police station drives me crazy. I have never heard the word "watch" used so many times in one bit of dialogue:

Zoey's dad: "Why a watch? I mean, you have a watch. Did you lose your watch? Where you afraid that if you told me you lost your watch ... "
