Which F Paul Wilson book is this film based on?

I came to this film when I was searching for any possible news of a Repairman Jack movie.

I read in another thread that this filom is based on a novella by F Paul Wilson, and considering the poor reviews this film had got, I think I'd rather search for the novella on eBay before I search for the film.

I suppose I'll start by looking for a book called Midnight Mass, but if that draws a blank if anyone knows the actual title I'd apprecaite your help.

I may yet end up buying this movie, if for no other reason than to see what F Paul WIlson looks like!
