A great romantic comedy

Predictable, but all romantic comedies are. Julianne Moore has never been more beautiful. The intense closeups show just how perfect her skin is. Pierce Brosnan is handsome as ever. Both are great at romantic comedy, with good timing and a way of saying a line straight but it's funny as intended.

A great watch for those who like this genre. The scenery is gorgeous, the clothes perfect, the acting superb, the writing predictable but with a good script. Love the actress who plays her mother.

I surprisingly liked it a lot too, for all the reasons you just said. Sure, there are ethical legal issues the script glosses over, a predictable outcome, and some suspend-your-disbelief plot points. But I enjoyed the breezy pace, character development, and the many one-liners. I've always liked both Julianne and Pierce, and they were both charming and appealing in this even though their divorce lawyers weren't the most sterotypically sympathetic characters in a romantic comedy.

I like it too, it's very amusing, the divorcing couple in particular.

I just watched it this weekend and i loved it too.

I was a little weird seeing these two actors in A Romantic Comedy, they are very good but for Pierce his genre is action or thrillers while Moore is a dramatic actress so i was afraid how they would do in it and they were great.

Ive been seen cases of many great actors who look uncomfortable in Romantic comedies like Nicole Kidman in Bewitched, Natalie Portman in no strings attached, Mila Kunis in Friends with benefits male examples Ralph Fiennes in Maid in Manhattan.

All those are very talented actors who feel like a fish out of water doing a Rom Com but There are some who do fair very well like Richard Gere, Matthew McCounaghey and now Pierce.
